THE FRESH is a Hip-Hop Group from Atlanta, Ga. Mic Masters and Shot J are the main members who make up THE FRESH. Formed in 2005 Mic and Shot have been working on THE FRESH and the different styles that are associated with the music. Writing and performing all original material THE FRESH stay connected with the public through their Websites, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Reverbnation, Tuncore, SonicBids, and Fanbridge profiles. Distribution of music material is through personally funded Unit Sales, Tuncore Online Distribution, SonicBids, and Regional Mixtapes.

THE FRESH also performs live on a regular basis. They have performed at A3C, Atlanta's largest independent hip-hop music festival, for the past 2 years in a row. (http://www.a3cfestival.com) While performing around the Southeast THE FRESH have shared the bill with the likes of, Killer Mike, Wale, Coolbreeze, Big Rube, Backbone, Witch Doctor, Nappy Roots, Eddie Rap Life, Binkis Recs., Rico Wade, DungeonFamily, B.O.B, Rakim, De La Soul, Diamond D, Collective Efforts, Khujo Goodie, YelaWolf, Donnis, Bobby Creekwater, The Wheeler Boys, Curren$y, D.R.E.S. Tha Beatnik, J-Live, DJ Premier, Skyzoo, Kidz in the Hall, Ludacris, and several others along the way.

Shot J is a Producer/MC for THE FRESH. He has been producing and engineering THE FRESH since 2005. Shot J is also a skilled DJ who holds a residency at the W Atlanta Perimeter Hotel and has been DJing around the Atlanta area for more than 10 years. He also produces and maintains all technical mediums for THE FRESH and any booking needs.
